They showed up early, were polite and respectful, and did not waste any time getting our stuff loaded and moved without a single issue! They are top-notch!
These guys were awesome! John, Tristan, and Jake !! Couldn’t recommend MORE! They were on time, called ahead with an ETA. Did a walk thru to see what needed moving….and then they were off!!! Unbelievably fast! Obviously professionals who know what they’re doing. It even started raining and I felt terrible, and they didn’t even blink. They were all so incredibly nice too. Will definitely call them first if I move again.

The team was very professional, we had a tricky moving situation and they handled it very well, the first drop off was to my parents house, the team leader introduced himself to my parents and my aunt and the team put my aunts bed together. They stayed late helping us put one of the beds together. My fiancé and were very pleased with the team and their professionalism. We highly recommend this company!

We recently used this company to move a lot of awkward fitness and home equipment that needed unassembled and reassembled. These guys were super polite, careful & efficient with our stuff.Our only issue was communication was a little slow in returning our initial calls but overall this was a great experience & we’ll definitely be using them again & appreciate how smooth this went.
I would like to preface this by saying the movers were very polite. However, I am incredibly disappointed with my move for many reasons, and would not recommend this company to anyone who values professionalism, honesty, or attention to detail.I would also like to mention that I have called the owner many times over the past 2 weeks, left multiple voicemails, and sent a text message when the voicemail box was full. I was even sent to voicemail after the phone had only rang a few times. I have not heard from anyone, despite explicitly mentioning in my voicemails that I would like to talk about some concerns I had with my move.After I had scheduled and paid the deposit for my move, the company reached out and attempted to cancel with no explanation. When I asked if I could schedule for a day later, they said “I can’t make any promises,” - still, with no further explanation. Eventually we settled on a date earlier than my expected move and had agreed to a 2 man crew for a minimum of 2 hours. On the day of my move, a 3 man crew showed up (additional $20 an hour not agreed upon) with no explanation or ability to refute.My biggest concern with this company is the lack of care the movers had with my belongings, as well as the damage they have done to my walls, floors, and door frames without disclosure. I was by myself overseeing the move, and all 3 movers were working separately in different locations, so I was unable to oversee the entire job. Throughout the morning, I had to move a few things myself due to their lack of care. My bedroom and couch cushions and pillows were thrown unprotected on the ground in my apartment complex hallway, being kicked and walked over by other residents needing to use the elevator. Boxes full of items not disclosed to the movers were being literally thrown into piles of other boxes to move. I watched them bump my Pelaton bike against a wall, drop it without control, readjust, bump it off of another wall, and then scrape the edge of the screen on another wall.After I returned to the unit they were moving my belongings from, I noticed extensive damage to my walls, a 3 foot scratch across my kitchen floor from them dragging a piece of furniture, and a chunk missing from my doorframe. The bookshelf that they must have bumped into the door frame also had the door’s paint and shards of wood on it. Unfortunately, a member of my leasing office was with me so I did not have a chance to fix the damage myself before it was noted in my checkout process, and I will be charged for it. NONE of the damage they did to any of my belongings, walls, or floors was disclosed to me prior to them leaving. And after reviewing the contract again, it mentions that claims for damage have to be made while the movers are still there in order to receive compensation.I was hesitant to write a review without reconciling with the company first, however, I have been deliberately ignored. Although I understand that accidents are inevitable and things just happen sometimes, I expected a professional, ethical moving company when I hired A Friend with a Truck. There is nothing excusable about the lack of communication and integrity this company has had regarding my move.
Never showed! Moving from out of state, we needed reliable movers being that I’m 35 weeks pregnant. Waited 3 hours at a storage unit in the rain and they never showed. 4 hours after the end of our arrival window and we still don’t even have a call.The only phone number we have from the confirmation email goes to a voicemail with a full mailbox. Absolutely no excuse for this. Would never recommend.
**Update November 2023: I have used this company a total of 3 times. The first time was my only good experience. This most recent time, just last month, the movers scratched up my dining table, bookshelf, and multiple items in boxes are broken. They pay no attention to “FRAGILE!!” written on the boxes. These items were carefully wrapped but no match for someone clunking a dolly full of small boxes up the stairs. They are understaffed and exhausted (one of them told me it was their 8th day working in a row) I’m really disappointed 2 years in a row. They also took their sweet time to stand and talk (I understand they need little breaks but it was excessive) which ended up costing me a $900+ move (BEFORE tip). I won’t use them again.Charlie, Tristan, and Jamel did a great job. They were super fast and efficient. Also the price ended up being less than what I was quoted so that was awesome! They made sure everything was where I wanted it before they left and were very professional. I recommend this company.
These guys were incredible. Very polite, clean cut, eager to get to work team. We had to reschedule our move dates two times due to builder related issues, but they were able to accommodate and were very professional about it. Highly recommended!!

We hired this company to load a moving container for us. John and JR were so incredibly efficient at loading our pod. They were friendly, worked tirelessly, included us in the decision making process along the way, calmed our worries of everything fitting, and was careful with our possessions and our home, This company proved to be top notch!
